Hyrox is Fitness Racing

HYROX combines both running & functional workout stations, where participants run 1km, followed by 1 functional workout station, repeated eight times.

Each race is hosted indoors in expansive exhibition halls, creating an immersive and electrifying race, where your spectators can support you from the very beginning to the very end.

This race format remains consistent across the globe, enabling global leaderboards & a cumulative World Championships at the end of each race season.

We have put together a comprehensive 3-day weekly workout plan in our HYROX Group Classes to build toward faster times and better endurance.  This plan relies on our expertise as strength and conditioning coaches who have spent their lives helping athletes reach their potential.

Our program is split into 3 weekly focused sessions:

Day 1: Cardio & Aerobic Energy Systems

As an example workout, we would work on steady-state rowing, running, and SkiErg, followed by a high-intensity circuit of sled pushes, wall balls, burpees, and kettlebell swings. Sprint intervals on the Assault Bike and shuttle runs push power and stamina, finishing with a cooldown to aid recovery. Perfect for building work capacity, cardiovascular endurance, and HYROX performance.

Day 2: Hyrox Workout

Assembled into weekly workouts that incorporate 2 or 3 of the Hyrox movements with a focus on form and efficient work.  These workouts include plenty of accessory work, but also have a competitive element to keep everyone engaged and beating their times week over week.

Day 3: Strength Focused

Strength day focuses on building power, endurance, and functional strength to enhance performance. This session includes compound lifts like squats, deadlifts, and presses, paired with sled pushes, farmer’s carries, and sandbag work to improve muscular endurance and real-world strength.
